Rowana-Kay is an Associate at Fosters and joined the Firm in 2017 after completing law school in Jamaica, having graduated with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies (Mona), Jamaica (“UWI Mona”).

Since joining our firm, Rowana has garnered substantial practice in several areas of law and has appeared as lead counsel for matters in all levels of the Courts on Island including her appearance as lead counsel on a matter in the Court of Appeal this year. In March of this year she won the case of Vanya Edwin Magras v LUCELEC, a negligence matter.

Rowana has a passion for advocacy and research having represented the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica and UWI Mona at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington DC and the Price Media Moot Court Competition in England in 2015-2016 and 2014 respectively. She is a former Adjunct Tutor at the Faculty of Law at UWI Mona where she tutored Contract law, Tort law and Public International Law 1 and 2.

When not engaged in law, Rowana is looking for a new restaurant to dine at, a fun adventure to partake in or a new island to visit. Rowana is currently studying French at Alliance Francaise de Sainte Lucia.
